Quick Blender tip to show how to delete unused materials from object and from scene, this method is working for Blender 3.0 or later. Sometimes after adding materials and changing to new materials, we can delete the materials by using remove material slot. In case, there are too many material in Blender scene, we also can remove the material from the scene. Hope this helps.
