Blender Simple Deform bend not working? We can try this. Here is a Blender tutorial video show how to bend an object in Blender using Simple Deform Modifier. In this example, we will use a plane, then subdivide the plane for adding meshes. Therefore, we can apply simple deform modifier for bending with adding origin. We can follow the steps to bend an object in Blender using Simple Deform Modifier

1. Add a object into 3D scene

2. Select the object and go to Edit Mode

3. Select faces and right click to choose Subdivide

4. In Subdivide Panel, we can adjust Number of Cuts

5. Go back to Object mode, and select the object and add modifier in Modifier Properties

6. Go to Deform and select Simple Deform

7. Now Simple Deform modifier is added, switch to Bend from Twist

8. Adjust the angle that we want to bend

9. Add origin for controlling bending shape
