Blender Colored Glass Material Shader

This is Principle BSDF shader setting for Blender Colored Glass Material or Tinted Glass Material, that is suitable for any users who want to quick setup the transparent glass material with Cycles Renderer. Below will show how to set this colored glass material, and how we can adjust it. Furthermore, this material ball is also available to download for your personal uses or educational uses.

This is the screenshot from Shader Edit. This Colored Glass Material is setting up with using one Principled BSDF Node, basic and simple. In the Principled BSDF Node, we can make these things to get Colored Glass Material.

1. Change Basic Color to another color as your preferred. I made it to Green color in this setting, the color code is #A0DABA, this is light green.
2. And then adjust Roughness to 0 to make the shiny surface of material.
3. Set IOR to 1.45, that is Index of Refraction of Glass. Furthermore, we can set glass IOR range from 1.44 to 1.95. It depends how much refraction we want to get.
4. Finally, the make material transparent, we can set Transmission to 1

Below screenshot is the Colored Glass using Principled BSDF shader only.

The .blend file is shared and available to download for education use, not for commercial, login and go to Blender Material Library for downloading this material.
I also tried to make other Blender Glass Material using other BSDF Nodes, have a look at these Transparent Glass and Frosted Glass glass materials setup here if you are interested.

Hope this helps. More Blender Tutorial, Tips and Tricks are available here.

Have fun with CGI, to make it simple.
