After Effects is a software that we can create motion graphics and edit video. If we want to skew text, skew a graphic, or skew a video footage, we can use Transform Effect. How to Skew in After Effects
In After Effects, we can use Transform > Skew to skew a video footage, composition, image, shape layer and text layer. In this example, we added a text layer, and will show how to skew text in After Effects.
1. After adding a text layer, make sure that we can the layer that we want to skew
2. Go to Window > Effects & Presets, or use shortcut Ctrl+5 to show Effects & Presets Window
3. Search Transform, and double click Transform under Distort to apply this effect to selected layer
4. Then, Layer is added with Transform Effect
5. We can adjust value in Skew to make layer skew
6. In addition, we want adjust value in Skew Axis to change Skew Axis Angle
