How to show keystrokes in Blender

When creating 3D scene in Blender, we can show the keys pressed in viewport, therefore, we can record what the keys or buttons we pressed. In this tutorial, we will go through how to show keystroke to display the keys that we pressed by using free addon Screencast Keys. It is possible to show the keyboard keys and mouse buttons. How to show keystrokes in Blender

We can follow below steps to show keystrokes in Blender 4.2.

1. Open Blender

2. Go to Edit and Preference

3. Choose Get Extensions

4. Search Screencast Keys

5. Click Install

6. Then, go to viewport, and press N to show side panel on the right

7. Click on Screencast Keys Tab

8. Click the box to turn on Screencast Key
