How to show 3D model surface area and volume using Blender

If we want to view surface area and volume of 3D object, we can use a free addon in Blender to show surface area and volume. This free addon , 3D Print Toolbox is very useful for making and analyzing 3D printable.  In this tutorial, we will show how to install this free addon , 3D Print Toolbox , in Blender 4.2. After installing, we can show 3D print tab in Side Bar. Then select an object, we can use Area button to calculate Surface Area, and We can use Volume button to calculate 3D object volume. How to show 3D model surface area and volume using Blender

We can follow below steps to install free addon for calculating 3D model surface area and volume in Blender 4.2,

1. Go to edit > Preferences

2. Go to Get Extensions in Preference Windows

3. Search 3D Print Toolbox to install this free addon

4. Go back to viewport and show Side Bar by pressing shortcut N

5. Find the Tab 3D Print

6. Select an object, then click Area to show Surface Area of 3D object

7. Click Volume to show 3D object volume
