How to make spiral curve in Blender

Blender tutorial video shows how we can make spiral curve and spiral mesh in Blender. In this tutorial, we will use a free addon, Extra Curve Object, to make a spiral curve in Blender. We can make 2D spiral and 3D spiral. Also we can make coil shape, spring shape, and spiral shape 3D model. Furthermore, we can make solid mesh by using this spiral curve. How to make spiral curve in Blender

We can follow below steps to make spiral curve using Blender addon.

1. Go to Edit , and Preferences

2. In Preferences, go to Get Extensions

3. Search Extra Curve object , and install this extension

4. Go to Add  > Curve > Curve Spirals

5. We can choose Archimedean, Logarithmic , Spheric or Tours

6. Spiral Curve is then added. We can open the panel Curve Spiral on bottom left for customize the spiral curve.

Furthermore, we can make spiral to be mesh in next steps. All these steps will be shown in this Blende tutorial visually, watch here,
