In this tutorial video, we will show how to add subdivision surface modifier in Blender with shortcut. In the first part of this video, we will make a half sphere, then, we can add a subdivision surface modifier to make the half sphere smooth. If we want to make sharp edge with subdivision surface modifier, we can go to edit mode to select edges, and change its crease value to 1. Steps are easy to follow for Blender beginners. How to add subdivision surface modifier in Blender with shortcut
We can follow below steps to add subdivision surface modifier in Blender
1. Select Object
2. Go to Modifier Properties, and add a new modifier
3. In Generate, we can choose Subdivision Surface
4. Then, Subdivision Surface Modifier is added into 3D object.
5. Alternative way with shortcut, we can Press Ctrl +1 , Ctrl + 2, Ctrl +3, Ctrl + 4, Ctrl +5, to add Subdivision Surface Modifier
