How to make shiny metal material
We can follow below steps to make shiny metal material,
1. Go to material properties and add a new material
2. Principled BSDF shader is then added
3. we can change base color to define the color of metal
4. Change Metallic to 1, to make it metallic looking
5. Reduce roughness, we can use 0.05 for shiny metal material
How to make rough metal material
We can follow below steps to make rough metal material,
1. Go to material properties and add a new material
2. Principled BSDF shader is then added
3. Change Metallic to 1, to make it metallic looking
4. In Roughness, we can use 0.2 to make the material less shiny
5. Add Bump node and connect to Normal in Principled BSDF node
6. Add texture node, e.g. noise, and connect to height in Bump node
Furthermore, we can add different kind of texture pattern by using difference procedural texture node. We will go through the steps in tutorial video visually, I hope this helps.
