Tutorial video shows how to center anchor point in After Effects with shortcut. In this video, we will add a star shape. In general, the anchor point of object layer is at center of composition. If we want to move anchor point to center of shape layer, we can use shortcut Ctrl + Alt + Home to move anchor point to center of star. All steps are shown in this After Effects tutorial video. How to center anchor point in After Effects
1. Add an object, a shape layer, or a footage into composition
2. Select this layer
3. Go to Layer > Transform, and choose Center Another Point in Layer Content or use shortcut Ctrl + Alt + Home
Then, anchor point is moved to center of Layer.
