Blender tutorial shows how to separate faces into new objects in Edit Mode. In this tutorial, we will go through how to separate faces from mesh into two objects. And then, we also can separate all faces into individually objects by using “split faces by edges” and “separate by loose parts”. Steps are easy to follow for Blender beginners. I hope this helps. More Blender Tutorial are available here.
Blender separate faces into new objects
To separate faces into new objects in Blender, follow these steps:
1. Select the object containing the faces we want to separate.
2. Switch to Edit Mode.
3. Choose the faces that we want to separate from the mesh.
4. Go to Mesh and Choose “Separate” , select “Selection” to create a new object with the selected faces.
This will split the chosen faces into a separate object, allowing us to work with them independently. Enjoy blending!
Alternatively, we can separate all faces by using split faces by edges and separate by loose parts. Below YouTube tutorial video will show the steps visually.
