Blender Basics, to show how to make a spring in Blender. In this video, it shows that we can Screw Modifier to make a Spring with start the circle curve. In Screw Modifier, we can adjust the height of spring and number of turn of the spring. The circle curve size would be the cross section size of spring, and the distance between curve and origin would be the radius of spring. Therefore we can adjust the circle curve and modifier setting to get the different size of spring. Hope this helps.
