Quick tutorial to show how we can add text and edit text in Blender. In this tutorial video, we can add 2D text in Object Mode, and edit text in Edit Mode. We can extrude 2D text into 3D shape, then change the text font, and make the text following a curve, and then convert it to mesh. It is possible to change text color by apply material for 3D rendering. Steps are for Blender Basics, hope this tutorial helps.
