Photoshop how to fade out image using gradient layer mask

Adobe Photoshop tutorial video shows how to fade out image using gradient mask for image layer. How to fade out image using gradient mask in Photoshop

We can follow below steps to fade out an image using gradient mask in Photoshop. Therefore, we can make photo fade to tranparent.

1. Open Photoshop and create a document with transparent background

2. Add image as a layer into Photoshop

3. Select image layer in Layers Windows

4. Click Layer Masks to add Mask to image layer, and select the Mask

5. Use Shortcut G or press Gradient Tool icon

6. Click and drag for adding black to white gradient into Mask

Then, we can add gradient mask for add fade out effects into image, and blend one side of image into transparent. Furthermore, we will also show how to blend 2 images using Gradient Mask.
