How do you duplicate an object in Blender
We will use 2 methods to duplicate object with shortcut, Alt D vs Shift D. We can follow below steps to duplicate Objects.
1. Select object in Object Mode
2. Go to Object and choose Duplicate Objects (Shift D) or chose Duplicate Linked (Alt D)

For using Shift D to duplicate objects, we can duplicate in geometry
For using Alt D to duplicate linked, we can duplicate objects with geometry and materials. Also, the duplicated objects will follow the original object after the original object edited.
