We can follow these steps to make 3D triangular prism in Blender with easy way
1. After starting Blender, we can go to Add > Mesh, and choose a Cylinder
2. Then open Bottom Left Panel, Add Cylinder Panel
3. In Vertices, reduce to 3
Therefore we got 3 sided cylinder in triangular prism shape.
