How to use Blender loop cut and slide

In Blender, we can use Loop cut and Slide to split faces by adding edges. In this tutorial video, we will go through how to use Blender loop cut and slide. We will use the default cube for example, we can select this cube and go to Edit mode, then select the faces that we want to add loop cuts, and press shortcut Ctrl R to add Loop Cut and Slide. How to use Blender loop cut and slide

We can follow these steps to use Blender loop cut and slide,

1. Select an object, and switch to Edit Mode

2. Go to Tool Bar and choose Loop Cut, or press shortcut Ctrl R

3. Move cursor to one edge that we want to add a new loop edge

4. Click to add loop cut edge

5. Open Loop Cut and Slide panel, and add Number of Cut to add multiple loop cut edges
