How to use trim paths in After Effects

After Effects Trim Paths is an impressive feature to make motion graphics to a curve, a shape or others. Trim Paths can animation a path from start and to the end for a shape or a curve. In this tutorial, we will go through how to add trim paths in After Effects. We can change the starting point and change the direction of trim paths. We can follow the steps to add trim path to a shape or a curve

1. Add a shape layer
2. Select the layer, then add a layer content, and choose Trim Paths.
3. In the Trim Paths layer, we can adjust the settings with percentage for “Start” , “End” , “Offset”.
4. After adjusting the Trim Paths settings with adding keyframe in timeline, we can have animated path in animation.
